Congratulations Lieven and everyone who helped to make this happen!!! #RBEA14
The words 'friend' and 'paranoid' in the same sentence usually don't make a good combination but exceptions make the rule and we've got one here! Director KOEN MORTIER joined the London-based production company FRIEND for UK-representation and the Los Angeles-based PARANOID for representation over the big pond. Very exciting stuff!
Congratz to Andreas, Martin, Martin and Bart!!!!

Have a look at the film and the article. Fingers crossed the wrestlers win in Annecy!!

Most probably, you are dying to know what went on behind those moving walls of the Editors video 'Sugar', directed by Joe Vanhoutteghem. Well, have a look at the Making Of here!
Joe, Lieven, Geert, the guys from Editors, the freerunners, everyone pulling ropes, driving pallet trucks, lifting stuff, throwing stuff, fixing stuff, holding stuff, everyone being pulled, lifted and held, the czar producers and everyone from the crew: IT LOOKS LIKE A TOUGH JOB THAT TRUNED OUT PRETTY AMAZING!!
L'ETRANGE COULEUR DES LARMES DE TON CORPS coproduced by CCCP, the fiction department for CZAR, is screening in Belgian cinemas at the moment. In this film, a stylish hommage to the gallio-thrillers of the 70s, directors Bruno Forzani and Hélène Cattet invites the viewer to a new sensory experience where dreams embody the desires and aversion of a man who get entangled in a labyrinthine and obsessive quest for his lost wife. Disguised as a thriller, this films is actually a very unique introspective trip into a world of fantasies and desires. It won't leave you indifferent.

KRISTOFFER BORGLI just finished his latest short film "INTERNET FAMOUS".
It's a story about a guy, Amir, who has the idea of becoming famous by walking around in Oslo and picking fights. He films those fights and later posts them on the internet.
This plan turns out to be very successful in the end.
On Tuesday evening, a sequence from the film was posted on the site World Star Hip Hop as an experiment and within 24hrs, the clip received over 1,2 million hits. Everyone think it's for real.
The experiment proved that the idea of the film seems to work in the real world.
The film is both sponsored as well as co-produced by Bacon.
CONGRATS KRIS & BACON PEEPS, GREAT WORK!!
We have loads to tell you so please find a comfy chair and get a hot cup of tea for this warm and happy update.

Congratulations Marc and Emma!!
Do you need another reason to go see BORGMAN? Well, here's one... it's a long one, but certainly a very good one! It's also the reason why BORMAN won THE SIREN for BEST INTERNATIONAL FEATURE FILM at LIFFF 2013!!
“It is the role of film festivals to gather the best of cinema, that is unlikely to be distributed in the region, but tend to be greater than the flicks one is use to have in their cinemas downtown. And picking one of the films, greater than others in a festival competition program, is a challenge of its own. But there is always something to the winning film, that shines out and makes it differ from the rest, especially – in the case of a genre film festival, originality and being true to the genre in authors own way, is something of a value of its own. We are very pleased, to see a grim and unsettling piece among other films. A film that opens with droll humor and darkens like the water in a muddy pond by the evening, it takes its audiences into a fairytale of the unrelenting grip of evil. A film that is here to live long after the lights go back on, to give a new insight to the understanding of horror. Thus, like stated in the very beginning of the film “And the descended upon the earth to strengthen their ranks”, the Dutch writer-director Alex van Warmerdam has descended with a beautiful, engrossing and original work “Borgman”, that is here to strengthen the rank of world’s cinema. To him and his movie this years LUND’S FANTASTIC FILM FESTIVAL BEST MOVIE PRIZE.”
If only there were such cool milk commercials when we were younger, it would have spared our mothers quite a few headaches.
